Kai Kai is pretty chilled. Getting old, don’t mind the energy but she’ll keep to herself. She’s good with all type of dogs. Missy is submissive and love to socialize and meet other dogs. Only her barking is loud. Love belly rubs.

Our do Bo is a very calm guy. He loves rubs, sitting in windows, or naps.

He grew up in England where he didn’t need to be on a lead. And he dislikes being alone. He does not go on furniture and he doesn’t destroy anything in the house.

Hi, My name is Surinder and I have a Bichon, he will be 9 in March and weighs around 18 pounds. He is our first dog, and loved by all our family and friends. Benji is a great guard dog. He is very good with children and other small dogs. He is picky with big dogs. We do not crate him. He is allowed on sofa. He sleeps in his own bed, but most of the time sleeps on our bed. Benji is very clean and smart dog. He loves to play with other dogs and kids.

We are a family of 4, including our dog Clark! Clark is approximately 5-6 years old and we think he's a retriever mix (he's adopted !) He's is a very quiet (he doesn't bark!) And gentile dog who lives for food and belly rubs! Clark lives with his human brother Brayden, who is 7 years old. I'm an elementary school teacher and my husband is a broadcast engineer!

We are recently empty nesters I work from home; travel to the office usually one day a week. Husband works outside the home. We walk our fur baby twice a day; however, he goes out back a couple times thoughout the day. I usually take a couple breaks during the day to play toss the ball. Meaning, someone is usually around. On the occasion we are both out, it’s usually just a couple hours. My husband has pet allergies, so it needs to be a non-shedding dog.

We have the most lovable, energetic pomachon who’s just shy of becoming 4 years old. We love dogs and are looking for on and off arrangements with neighbors for sitting when we have to go out of town which is rarely the case. We don’t allow our dog free roam of the whole house but he’s got a sweet setup on the main level with plenty of room for a friend. Because of our daughters age and our dogs comfort levels, we cannot board dogs over 20 lbs but under we are all good!

Chloe is a sweet 13 year senior dog who loves to nap and cuddle. She lives with my husband and I and has had many adventures with us. From living in Miami in her puppy years to moving to California for several years to now enjoying a calm life in Virginia since 2020. She has lived a pretty active life hiking, swimming and playing but now mostly prefers to chill (albeit still enjoys a good zoomie every now and then). She loves people, getting belly rubs and especially loves treats and food.

My name is Stephanie. I live in South Riding w/ my husband Andrew and adult daughter, Meredith, who loves dogs more than people. Gunner was my son, Michael's, dog. He was dumped outside as a puppy and rescued in Alabama at approx 1.5 years old- extremely emaciated and near death. Michael adopted him where he was attending college after getting out of the Marine Corps as a Sergeant. Michael passed away a year and a half ago, and we got custody of our grandpup, Gunner. He's been a blessing. He's calm, so sweet, loves affection, back, belly and chin rubs, and loves to be held. We just bought a white sofa, so, while he previously enjoyed the furniture, he now isn't allowed. He's a pitbull-labrador retriever mix. Completely non-aggressive, and plays well with other dogs. He is afraid of heights, hardwood floors, and staircases, but we've worked with him and, even though still a little fearful, he tackles them with courage. He's microchipped. So far, everyone who's been around him adores him.

I was so excited to read a post on the South Riding Community page because I’ve had this idea since I got Bailey 4 years ago. It just makes so much sense. I have another hound mix, too who is 4 years old. They love people and get along with other dogs. I sometimes feel guilty that they don’t have children to play with. They love when my five-year old and 12-year-old grandchildren come to visit.

Hi there! Ramen “Noodle” Whitaker is a fun, friendly, and playful 3 yr old goldendoodle. Great with kids and other dogs. He has never met another dog he didn’t try to initiate play time with. He is that dog that tries to play with everyone at the dog park. Has never shown any signs of aggression. Ramen is a very tender and loving pup, always has been since we brought him home at 6 weeks old.

Na'vi is a quiet and friendly but a bit shy dog. He loves to stay in the company of humans. He understands a lot of words. He loves to sit in the backyard and stare at the trees for hours. He loves his mom the most.

Hello! Kenzie, her brother, Hooper and I live in South Riding. She is a rescue so exact age is unknown but is estimated to be around 7-8 years old. She’s very well potty trained as long as she is let out shortly after given food/water. She likes to sit around and observe her surroundings. She does bark if she thinks someone is outside the house.

She is such a lovely girl, always eager to snuggle up next to you. Despite her age, she remains youthful in both appearance and behavior. Sleeping and going for walks are among her favorite activities. Additionally, she is very sociable and gets along well with other dogs.

Super sweet dog. A little shy around new adults (especially men) and new dogs. Great with cats, kids, and puppies. Pretty easy to handle.

Naina is the sweetest pup. She loves humans and she loves food! She gets along great with dogs and kids alike. She’s super gentle and quite playful even at 9 years old. She enjoys two walks a day (between half a mile to a mile). We also have a small fenced in backyard that she likes visiting for pee breaks during the day, as needed.
