Joey is adorable and loves to meet new people. Shih Tzus were bred to keep Emperors warm by sitting on their laps, and Joey does the same for us. He’s not fond of fireworks or thunder. He’s a little bit spoiled. Ok, fine, we spoil him a lot because he’s so cute, AND because he’s a good boy. Almost eight years old, and no health issues.

Easy going girl with fondness for food. Walks about 4-5 miles a day but would be happy with less as well. Housebroken and sleeps in our bed or her crate at night.

Hi! We are a nice family who live in Reston. Our happy home has one dog (friendly, easy going), and two cats (playful, fine with dogs)… along with four humans! We vacation a few times a year and currently pay for boarding in someone’s home. We’re considering this app as another option. Any dog we watch would be treated like our own… and would need to have a nice non-aggressive temperament, be ok around young children, and be potty trained. I work from home most of the time but may have to step out for a meeting occasionally… my dog has potty breaks every 4-6 hours and as needed. Thanks!

She is more timid around larger dogs and won’t play with them but she does warm up to small dogs pretty quickly and loves to play.

Any dog people who are also cat people? Fawn, the dog, and Monkey, the cat, are best friends. The cat even follows us on dog walks. Fawn is well-mannered, gentle, playful, great with all dogs, kids, cats, great at the dog park or at a restaurant with a patio too. Monkey is a sweet and gentle cat. He avoids some dogs and cats but is very close with Fawn. He is great with kids and is social. He wouldn't want to be alone all day. He is indoor/outdoor at my house but can stay indoors and is litter-trained fine. I like them to stay together or at least visit one-another daily (in Reston) while I am away. This is why I don't board them. I don't know of a boarder who would let them be together.

She is very friendly and playful, all humans are good people to her. She likes to sniff dogs’ butts but doesn’t like it when they do it to her lol.

Penny and I live in Reston - we love the walking paths and amenities. My three kids live in the DMV and visit often - but is it to see me or Penny? They all love her as much as I do! She is a mini “double doodle” - with mini Aussie golden doodle dad and labradoodle mom so is quite petite for a doodle.

She likes to play more on the rough side but can also be chill. She is very connected to humans, she is smart, affectionate and generally very polite. She is very good with kids. Lucy has high wanderlust, we would require the dog parents to be very aware of her not escaping when given the chance. That is really our only concern!
