Sebastopol, CABreed: Australian Shepherd

Age: 1 year old
Gender: Male
Hi there! We’re Lexi & Chris and we’re proud parents to our adorable & lively 5-month-old Australian Shepherd, Whiskey! We live on about 3 acres of land in Sebastopol with over 400 apple trees. We also have two cats at home, Sharky and Salsa. Whiskey is super friendly to both dogs and people, he is crate trained and is learning how to not pull while walking on a leash 🐾. Chris and I love to travel and hope to meet some cool pet parents to watch our little boy while we’re away, and return the favor for others! 🐶

Finn
Sebastopol, CABreed: Goldendoodle
Weight: 30 lbs
Age: 5 years old
Gender: Male
hi, my name is SARI, the photo here is of Finn and myself. I got Finn almost five years ago, when going through a cancer journey. He came to me after so much prayer, I got him from my neighbor, after looking on lots of doodle websites and getting too worn down on the purchase process. He’s the best friend i could have. He lives the outdoors, and can stay indoors for over eight hours at a time, very well behaved and trained. He is attached and follows me everywhere. He gets along really well with all other dogs. We have a smaller double doodle; sunshine; that was brought into our family recently and is now four months old. I’m looking usually to find a place for both of them. Or i’ll split them up if I can’t find a home that wants both of them. We live on an acre in Sebastopol and frequently go to Dillon Beach to let the dogs off leash.

We have had our dog for more than a year. She was quite anxious when we got her from the rescue facility, but she is really coming out of her shell. She love playing with our dogs and going on hikes. I work part time , and have 2 teenage children that help me take care of Luna. We would love to have another dog at our house periodically! They would need to be ok around cats.

Eagean

Happy 2 year old Aussie in Sebastopol. He is enthusiastic about life but is chill in the house. I am interested in sharing some overnight exchanges as I'm not thrilled by the group of pet boarding facilities. Eagean LOVES the Ragle Park dog park. I'm happy to host yours - I grew up with 14 dogs on a ranch - and take them on long walks.

Lucy
Sebastopol, CABreed: Labrador Retriever
Weight: 80 lbs
Age: 14 years old
Gender: Female
Hi, we love dogs and we love travel! We have one sweet old white lab, Lucy, who is 13 years old. She is very friendly and very low energy at this point in her life..she loves eating, napping and having her tummy rubbed. She's got arthritis so walks are short. We also have 2 cats so we can only host cat-friendly dogs. We're active, and love hiking so while Lucy can no longer join us on our hikes, we'd be happy to take your dogs on long walks/hikes.

Doyle
Sebastopol, CABreed: Goldendoodle
Weight: 60 lbs
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Male
Our names are Pam Aden and Tom Doyle. We have a wonderful 60 pound golden doodle named Doyle. Since the pandemic, Tom works from home and we’re fortunate enough to have a nice backyard for our dog to play in. Doyle is 2 1/2 and still has lots of adolescent puppy energy!! Doyle’s passion is chasing and bouncing balls…he does not “fetch”, so you get plenty of exercise walking around picking up balls to bounce or kick to him! Tom and I occasionally host Air Bnb guests, so we’d prefer dogs we host to not be constant barkers or diggers. Doyle has a crate in our bedroom, but he’s not crated at night. Most of the day, Doyle prefers to monitor street activity from our front window or “chill” on the cool floor or sofa. Doyle’s best friend is our neighbor’s 90 lb golden doodle, Bennie.
Yago
Sebastopol, CABreed: Poodle Australian Cattle Dog Mixed
Weight: 50 lbs
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Male
Hello friends, we are a family with 2 dogs in Sonoma County! One older golden retriever named Harley who is 10 years old and a Australian cattle dog poodle mix who is 3 years old. I realize that may be a lot to have two dogs but thought we’d see what the community is like. We both work from home and spend a lot of time with our pets. Love to get to know some dog families in our community.
Oliver
Sebastopol, CABreed: Labrador Retriever
Weight: 45 lbs
Age: 5 years old
Gender: Male
Hi! Oliver is a chill dog who stays active as my running / hiking mate, chasing tennis balls and wrestling with his doggy playmates. He is a rescue and used to be really anxious around new people and dogs but we’ve done extensive training and he does quite well now. We just moved from San Diego and no longer have our network of doggy friends to rely on. I am hoping this app will be a good fit for exchanges! Hosting your pup: I work from home Mon/Fri, go into clinic tue/thur and am off on Wed. I’m happy to host a dog throughout the week but they would need to be okay with being alone for 6-8 hours on TTh (or we could swap MWFs for TThs). I have a doggy door to a small yard and oliver and I go on very long walks and hikes daily. We LOVE parks like Ragle with room to roam but I usually avoid small, overcrowded dog parks. Hosting Oliver: I rarely travel outside of a long weekend every other month and an extended 7-10 day trip to visit my family on the east coast once a year. I’m specifically looking for help over this upcoming thanksgiving week. I will be home throughout December and January holidays to watch yours.☺️
Bodhi
Sebastopol, CABreed: Maltipoo
Weight: 10 lbs
Age: 9 years old
Gender: Male
Hi. I’ve been having someone in Rohnert Park hang with Bodhi and it’s so much driving! Great thing is he’s been around other dogs, is very friendly with people, super sweet. I have school once to twice a week I can’t bring Bodhi to and also when I’m away. And would be so happy to have another dog with us to trade!

Another alternative is hiring a professional dog sitter who can either visit your home or have your dog stay with them. This one-on-one arrangement can be tailored to your dog's specific needs and preferences. Dog sitters offer personalized care, ensuring that your dog feels safe and comfortable in their care.
