Enzo and his human live in west seattle and enjoy being outside. Enzo loves other active dogs and, like his human, prefers one on one time to large groups. He’s respectful to small dogs, but just isn’t quite sure what to do with them. He loves having other dogs over to run around with him in the back yard with the occasional rest in the grass. He’s not dominant and prefers other chill, fun loving canines like himself. Does this sound like your brand of a good time? Then reach out!

Mochi is a special little old man. He is not always down for pets from strangers, but he's a love bug when he warms up to you. He's a senior and has difficulty with slippery floors or jumping on the couch.

Willow is a a super friendly pup who loves to start play slowly but loves to tumble a bit and loves to be chased. Shes super smart, incredibly sweet, and loved deeply by our family. She does bark at dogs when excited to play due to being in a puppy posse for 2 years, 5 days a week. She has a hard time containing her joyfulness when a playmate is ready to go. Otherwise, she can be a lounger.

Hi there! I’m Holly. Dog mom, cat mom, animal lover. I have adopted many dogs and cats in my day and each one has been the absolute best. I’m the pet sitter in my group of friends, and the one everyone turns to for pet advice. We recently moved from Bend, OR to West Seattle and would love to make new friends (people AND pets!) Charlie is only recently an only dog after our eldest pup passed away a few months back so he’s a little lonely. He loves to gently play and wrestle and chase in short bursts and toss around a stuffy. He’s pretty mellow at his 7-ish years. He’s great with our cats, loves meeting people and dogs, and likes to sleep under the covers next to me! But is just as happy solo in the basement getting some alone time in his bean bag. Hello, storm and I are happy to meet you. We live in the north west Seattle area. We are a family with 6-year-old, 10-year-old and 15-year-old. They are incredibly respectful, to tiny dogs. Our storm is treated as one of the family. She has free rain of all the house. She gets emotional attention. She gets physical exercise and lots of little treats. Storm is loved beyond anything. Storm likes to bark occasionally at passerby's like any tiny dog. She's super shy and probably prefers cats. Except her human owner is allergic to cats. We are looking for another tiny dog family who needs companionship. Loves to go gentle walks. And requires just the most love and attention, sprinkled with gentleness. Our dog is not allowed to be picked up by any of the kids, we teach our children. The dogs of storm size have very fragile tiny bones and must be only picked up by the adult. We do not harass nor tease our storm. We believe in social emotional care, yes, even for our dog. Our kids are relatively quiet, and I never scream. We are a home, that respects each other and our animal friends and family. So if you have a pup are you absolutely adore and wanted me to family who adores their tiny pup. Hi, I’m the mom of Arlo ( fur baby) and Demi 4 (human child) and my husband is Leon. Arlo is a 5 year old poodle mixed rescue from Mexico and he is the sweetest. He came to us when he was 5 months old. He loves kids and babies, he has been the best big brother to my daughter since day 1. He loves to cuddle and car rides and will do anything for treats.

Hello, I’m Divya and I’m based in Seattle, working in tech! I have a playful about a year and a half Alaskan Malamute dog, named Tanuki! He’s absolutely cuddly, gentle and very warm. Although he’s a bit excited when he finds himself with new people but he eventually calms down. He’s been very good with dogs, is crate-trained and potty trained! He is super friendly and loves to sleep all the way through the afternoon and plays in the evening!

My dog, Jussi, is my family and my savior. I got her after being badly injured and she lifted my spirits tremendously. I want to travel to Europe and discover and relish other cultures. I want to take Jussi but I will be traveling to multiple countries and traveling with a pet is both wonderful and very limiting. Jussi does well with other dogs and cats, she is very easy going and well trained. She LOVES places like Alki and I, her owner, grew up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania and have great love for and experience with animals.

Juniper is a really sweet pup with lots of energy. She loves playing with other pups and people.

Hi there! Our family is new to Ballard and we have loved living here so far! Our fur babies are Tucker and Omari, probably the two laziest dogs you’ll ever meet! Tucker has never met a stranger and will happily snooze wherever his people are. Omari is the definition of a couch potato and loves anyone who can give a good booty scratch. They like dogs that are calm but love a spurt for playing too! We love going on walks but are champions at cuddling pups and having us a lazy day too. Hi there! Loki is a wonderful, friendly, gentle giant who loves cuddles and long walks to sniff. We like to go backpacking and snowboarding and can’t always logistically bring him along. We’re looking for someone to trade boarding with us, and we love all dogs!

Mishti is a mini goldendoodle and she is the most lovable, playful, pupper. She loves people and kids. She loves playing with other dogs and does best with other similar sized doodles. We would love to find a friend for her who we could do swaps with so that the pups would have a blast together.

Maizey is the sweetest mini labradoodle. She is great with humans. She is very cuddly but also loves to play. She loves chewing on sticks and playing with balls (although she’s not the best at fetching). Loves the beach, the snow and swimming in lakes. Maizey is all about the belly rubs. She’s house-trained and well behaved. We do not feed her any human food. She’s up-to-date with vaccinations & flea/tick medication and does not take any other meds. Additional details: she is a bit reactive and territorial. She has been attacked twice by dogs so, new dogs, especially bigger than her, scare her and her reaction is to lunge and bark at them. She needs time to warm up to new dogs.

Nooner is an easygoing dude who just wants to be along for the ride! He hasn’t quite figured out fetch, but loves to zoom around the park following other dogs who actually want the ball. At home, he loves to curl up in a nice warm sun spot or snuggle on the couch- we’ve taught him to ask for permission first, but our answer is almost always yes. Nooner works from the office most weekdays (in his role as company mascot/de-stress buddy), often with one or two other dogs, and is pretty used to tagging along on any dog-friendly adventures. Nooner gets a little scared if he’s left alone for long periods of time - we’re working on it, but separation anxiety is a long road! We’d love to connect with other pet parents in the same boat; we had some amazing support people who helped in our early days with Nooner, and would love to be that person for others :) My husband and I foster with a local shelter and I volunteer regularly with their dog team, so we get our fair share of doggy guests and are pretty used to reading dog behavior and adjusting to whatever each dog needs. We can’t wait to make more regular dog friends!!

We love our puppy!!! And our puppy loves other dogs. We walk coco on two walks a day about 30 minutes in the morning then play at the dog park for about 20 minutes. Then we walk her in the evening. She’s a super excited and happy pup.

We got our adorable little Olive in May 2024. She loves to play and cuddle. We are empty-nesters living in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle.

We are an active family of 4 (me, hubby and two teenage boys) living in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Seattle. I am home a lot as a stay at home mom. Our girl, Zoe, is a mellow 9 year old golden retriever who happens to love daily walks, playing fetch, and begging for snacks. Other than that, she pretty much lays around and naps during the day. She gets along well with all humans and dogs. She’s a gem. What we are looking for: someone in a nearby neighborhood with whom we can swap care. Zoe is mostly an indoor dog, but does best in a house with a fenced back yard. For dog sitting swaps, we have lots of availability in general, and usually seek care for our girl for a week or two in the summer and the occasional holiday that coordinates with high school breaks. Tug is an energetic, smart, lovable, and inquisitive German shorthaired pointer. He loves cuddles and down time in the AM and is always up for an adventure. Chasing the ball, scent work and snuggles are his favorite. Afternoons are for the park and swimming. He’s a curious boy with a big heart! Never met another doggo or human that he doesn’t like.

My partner Jason and our dog Ash enjoy living in Ravenna. We love taking Ash for long walks (especially to the farmers market), play time at a dog park, and out and about to restaurants and breweries. Ash is very sweet-tempered and is calm in the house, preferring to snooze with some stuffies or parade them around to show them off. We’d love to meet fellow dog lovers and find trusted people to regularly swap dog sitting!

Arlo believes he was put on this earth to play with other dogs. As it is his mission in life, he has gotten very good at it; he runs long and hard when other dogs are excited to do the same and listens well to cues when they might not be as into him as he is into them. He is very well socialized and has spent a fair amount of time at daycare and professional boarding places, so he’s used to spending a lot of time with other dogs. He also loves cats, and is very respectful of them. He is usually a two-walk-a-day boy, with the occasional night where we trade scent work for a walk and that tires him out just as well.

He is very obedient, except around prey or a dog he hasn’t met yet. This presents some challenges on walks, as he can’t get too close to another dog on leash without getting worked up and frustrated that he’s not playing with them RIGHT NOW. His frustrated barks may sound menacing, but he just wants to play. We believe solely in positive reinforcement training, and that there are no bad dogs, only human trainers with more to learn. The bulk of Arlo’s training these days is concentrated on not reacting to all the cool dogs he longs to meet (or at least sit and stare at) on every walk. Sadly for him, he has to settle for being rewarded with treats instead of making another friend. 

He has an average amount of energy for his age, but once he hits his quota he is content to sleep and occasionally snuggle. Since both my wife and I work from home, he spends his day moving around to whichever nap spot is closest to a human. He is loving and loyal and very friendly to everyone. We’re still working on him not jumping as much on new people, which is made more challenging because we encourage him to jump on us, but he doesn’t always make the distinction. He doesn’t have much experience with children, but sees them as other puppies to play with, which, for kids who like dogs, should be a lot of fun for both of them.

We love Arlo so much, and we will always treat your dog with all the love and attention we give our own.

Hi there! My partner and I have two extremely spoiled, but well-behaved Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Copper and Maizey. We just moved here from Michigan and are looking for a community of dog lovers. We don’t travel a ton, but certainly a few times a year and our home is welcome to all dog friends! I have had dogs almost all my life, and have trained all of them except the very first.

Hi! I live in the Ravenna-Roosevelt neighborhood with my partner, Jerome. We’re a family of 3 including our 3-year-old dog, Bardo. We love visiting all the parks and dog-friendly shops and restaurants in the area. We have flexible work schedules that allow for one of us to be at home all day. On weekends we like to go for long walks and hikes, or just relax on the couch with a movie and Bardo by our side. Bardo is sweet and playful and loves hanging out with other dogs. She’s especially gentle with smaller breeds.

We are a household of four - two grownup humans, and a kid and a dog (both 8). We like camping and hiking and always bring Libby whenever we are allowed to. Libby the dog is a friendly mix of who-knows-what and likes other people including kids. She likes other dogs too, but gets shy when there’s more than one additional dog. For example, in dog parks she mostly hangs back with us (but she’s fine if other dogs when she needs to be). We all really like dogs and would be very glad to trade dogsitting. (We would just want to be confident the guest dog is ok around a dog-friendly, and dog-experienced, 8-year old.)
