Hank gets a long with all dogs and humans but not cats. We look forward to meeting you and your baby and exchanging care and affection.

My husband and I are soon to be empty nesters. We live in the city but we are a block from Marconi Plaza. We have a typical quirky, Shiba Inu. He likes other dogs his size are smaller. Without dogs people making him nervous especially kids. Kiwi enjoys, going to fenced in dog parks. Can takes an anxiety medication and an appetite stimulant once a day.

hi! i'm a designer living in graduate hospital with my partner and two kids under 4. we have a very sweet/lazy/large dog named soft. she get along wonderfully with other dogs and kids and is generally very low maintenance and doesn't require a ton of exercise. she does have separation anxiety. after a lot of training she does totally fine alone in our home (particularly if it's on a typical routine) for much of the day. but leaving her alone in other people's houses is less tested waters. so the ideal boarding home would have someone who is with soft for much of the day and/or is willing to test out leaving her in smaller intervals or maybe even dropping her off at our house when they need to be away for long segments of time. we're dog lovers and would love to meet your dogs too!

Scarlet is a very sweet pit mix - smaller than most - commonly referred to as a pocket pittie. She loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly.

Mikan is super friendly (loves playing with dogs and humans equally) and loves hanging out with her friends at the Schuylkill dog park!

Hello! Peggy the pit loves doggie friends, and we’d love to spend time with your pup, and send her on fun play dates for the occasional weekend away. Peggy is leash reactive but it is pretty manageable especially when she walks with a friend!

I have had Cali since she was a puppy. She loves snuggling and playing fetch. She is great with my two toddlers and cat. She likes playing with other small dogs but it does take her sometime to warm up. She does not do well with high energy dogs. She is also anxious around new people and also takes time to warm up but treats do help. We don’t have family close by so traveling can be tough. She would not do well in a normal boarding situation since she is anxious on new situations.

 We have two adorable but quirky pups that we are obsessed with. Hickory our beagle is 5 years old, super friendly, loves everyone and is generally uber chill. He is very mischievous re food and will find it anywhere he can reach. He also has some separation anxiety. Willow is our anxious rescue chihuahua mix that is so, so sweet but remains super skittish and anxious (cowers and hides) with strangers no matter how much we’ve loved on her. But if you are slow and gentle with her she loves to be loved!

Harley is a good sweet gentle boy who is a bit of a baby in a 10-year old healthy dog body. We moved to center city from the ‘burbs 2 years ago go and he has adjusted well. We live close to Rittenhouse Square so he thinks that’s his backyard and all the dogs there have come to visit him. He gets along great with humans and other pups, a bit aloof after the initial curiosity. He’s an extremely chill dog.

I have experience with toy sized dogs to large dogs and medication management. I have a preference for adult (1yr+ dogs). Benny is a 17lb Chihuahua/Terrier/Beagle mix. He is very food motivated and good around other dogs anywhere and people outside of his own home. He sleeps most of the day and likes to stay by your side. Hello! Winnie and I live in the art museum area of the city. I don’t have family close by so it would be helpful to have a helping hand if I ever needed someone for Winnie. She is a very sweet lazy cattle dog. She is a herding breed so she does try to herd other animals or people. She likes everyone in the same room. She is good with other dogs but sometimes can get snippy about food/treats/toys so as long as these are given separate from another dog she is fine.

Hello! Four and I are nyc transplants who just moved to Center City. Four is an absolute goober of a dog— she’s super dopey and loving, she loves playing with other dogs and posing for pictures. Four is also extremely intelligent and alert. Because she’s so smart, she can be a bit anxious and does struggle with separation anxiety when her mum is gone. Four is a super chill dog and spends most of her days relaxing, but she’s always down for a game of fetch(as long as she isn’t responsible for bringing the ball back every time)

He likes to play in spurts but mostly just enjoys relaxing near people. He gets along with nearly all dogs, still doesn’t fully understand cats, and loves kids but doesn’t always understand his size or how strong his wagging tail can be!

Hi! My partner and I love dogs and our pup Willoughby needs lots of of exercise so we make sure to bring her daily to fairmount park which is right down the street. I work from home so I’ll be available to be with any visiting pup all day. All of our furniture (including our bed) is dog friendly so your pup will be very comfy and feel like they are at home. Our pup enjoys sleeping in her crate during the day so if your dog has one, feel free to send it. Expect lots of activity, fun, safety and relaxation at our house.

Bash is the sweetest little pup. Since she’s half husky, she gets hot easily and may lay near a water bowl or on the cool kitchen tile, or hardwood floor. Loves ice cubes. She always comes over for cuddles and scratches. Both dogs go to daycare 2-3 days a week, and get along with dogs of every size, age and temperament. May skip breakfast and might only eat after the humans eat dinner. She wants to see if she can human food first, then will eat her kibble. Due to some overs-cuddling in the past, she’s afraid of young kids. She NEVER has nipped or even growled at a kid, but she tucks her tail and runs away. Occasionally she’ll bark if the kids chase her, but again never bitten a kid (or anyone).

Moved to Philly this year for work! I am in healthcare and my boyfriend works from home. We’re looking to make more dog-friends and socialize our pup!

We own two rescues: Frida the Boston terrier and Felix the tuxedo cat. Didn’t realize it at the time but they match. Frida and Felix are two peas in a pod: they play together and snuggle up for naps. They’re both quite the characters, but real loving.

Hi. Recently moved to the area and don’t have any dog friend connections. My work hours vary and have recently changed and sometimes I have last minute overnights. Stella was a rescue who came to live with us when she was 7. She loves to chit chat (bark). She loves attention and is super sweet and total love bug. She’ll want pets and to snuggle. She barks at other dogs, still trying to train her and stop this but she seems to be an old lady set in her ways. Once’s she meets and warms up to other dogs she’ll ignore them while in the same home. She loves to play with cats.

Also happy to day sit or board on weekends with enough notice and our dog Lyla being able to acclimate to your pup first. Lyla is a sweetheart with a side of separation anxiety. But she loves snuggles once she gets to know you and will be very protective of you, but not aggressive. She's full grown at 22 pounds and is a medium shedder.
