Spirit is an 8 month old Golden Retriever/Lab mix. From the start she’s been a shy and somewhat anxious puppy. With intentional socialization, shes made great strides, but she still needs time, patience, and attention to continue building her confidence. Thankfully, Spirit isn’t aggressive-she’s just initially a little shy and cautious around new dogs and people-she takes time to warm up and show her full playful and often silly personality. She absolutely loves belly rubs, cuddles, playing tug, hiking, fetch, watermelon, PEANUT BUTTER, along with beef liver. I am very active and enjoy hiking so Spirit is great on walks. She enjoys exploring new areas. My primary goal is to meet other dog parents and potentially find her a friend or two; exchange useful tips, along with walking/sitting responsibilities when traveling.
