Rue
Edwardsville, ILBreed: Mixed Breed
Weight: 75 lbs
Age: 3 years old
Gender: Female
Pawrents: Hannah & Lucas - We live in a duplex with 2 male cats. Mainly interested in at-home play dates, as parks can be a bit intimidating for her and we don’t really have a yard yet. However, we would love to help where we can with boarding, if all get along! Rue is a 3 year old, Boxer/Lab/Great Pyrenees rescue. Not 100% sure on her history, but she had a chuck of her ear missing when we found her — This makes her very timid to meeting new friends, but she communicates very well at submitting/setting boundaries. Definitely a spoiled lover - She will take the snugs in bed over playtime any day. Once comfy and ready to spar, the boxer comes out and her paws are very active. Loves running, swimming, tugging and chase — She didn’t get the retriever memo, fetch is a no-go. Knows all basic commands, very vocal about her needs (just ask a question and she responds), no accidents ever, but bad FOMO so she’s a shadow.
Ginger
Edwardsville, ILBreed: Belgian Malinois
Weight: 55 lbs
Age: Puppy (less than 1 year old)
Gender: Female
Ginger wants nothing more than to please you— as fast as possible! She is a high energy breed- so she will get in trouble if not monitored. She’s very smart- knows basic commands, goes to her crate at bedtime, and wants to play, play, play. She loves to play with other dogs and cats, but is an only dog- so she’s awkward at first. After introduction she is a great constant playmate.
