Basil
Boulder, COBreed: Italian Spinone
Weight: 90 lbs
Age: 7 years old
Gender: Male
We are active recent empty nesters (most of the time - our 3 kids are in college out of state) . We hike and enjoy being outdoors. We have a cat, Piper, and one dog, Basil. Basil basically lies around unless someone comes to the door - then he barks. He is fully house trained, crate trained, doesn’t chew, not an aggressive bone in his body. He will not leave your sight when off-leash at a dog park or hike. He loves walks and hikes but they aren't essential every day. He would love it if you'd take him on them, but won't complain or get hyper if you don't (he'll just look at you with big sad eyes :) ). He’s basically indifferent to most people and dogs. Just likes to be by you in the room somewhere. Not allowed on furniture, usually sleeps on his dog bed in our room (never in our bed). We have a small back yard. Open to an easy going dog, fully house trained, ok with a cat, who does not chew. I work from home so they would have company most of each day. Size less important than those features :) Thx!
