Dog Boarding near Beacon, NY

I’m Stacey. Just moving to Beacon area. My dog Gizmo is eek (14!). He’s sweet, gentle but a little shy. When I got him he was so scared to leave the house and now he has learned to be an almost normal dog. He enjoys short walks, sniffing all the things and meeting other non aggressive dogs. He doesn’t like loud noises, basketballs and fire alarms — stresses him out. While I settle into the area I may need an occasional relief walk for Gizmo and potential at my place over-night for work. Currently I’m only able to help with walks. I’m not able to house sit or host other dogs for overnights.

Hi! We are the McGrath’s. Eoin, Laura and Olivia the dog. Olivia is a mutt from Thailand which is also known as a Thai Village Dog. She’s very sophisticated and likes to sleep most of the day. Except for her 3 walk which are am, mid day around 4 and then in the evening. Eoin works in advertising and Laura works in costuming in film and tv, but is in the process of looking for another job now that the industry is retracting. Olivia is very sweet but doesn’t love all dogs. So it’s a challenge.

We love to hike, jog, and take our pup to a local dog park. Lily is very calm, great recall, loves to play but has no aggression, she would not hurt a fly. She gets along with all dogs, loves people, and has great enthusiasm for food, pets, and an occasional treat. She doesn’t swim but loves to plop (in clean running water, per my rules).

Hi! We’re Joe, Amanda and Parker and we love to have visitors. We have Parker’s “cousins” stay with us whenever we can and she always a gracious host. She loves to share her toys, show off her sniffing spots and is always down for a friendly cuddle. She’s great at matching energy, especially with small puppies, but is also a great teacher with showing the younger ones when they are being too much. We all love to be active but just as much love being lazy. We call Parker our 50mph couch potato. Lounger for sure until she sees a squirrel!
